It seems to me that Android is developing at a faster rate than Chrome OS. I currently own a Chromebook Plus laptop that I use for my everyday tasks, but it feels kind of clunky. There’s plenty of software that doesn't work with it, even some web pages give me trouble. I feel that since Android is Google's main operating system, having a secondary operating system like Chrome OS creates challenges in the long term. It wouldn't surprise me if Google eventually decides to give up on Chrome OS, but I think it’s still too early to say for sure.
