There’s exactly one company who can crack BMW ECUs. You have to send it to them and they have a Russian method to do it. Cough, cough, somebody hacked Bosch or BMW and grabbed the firmware keys.
They moved to Finland recently for obvious reasons.
I found quite a few devices for cars like that, just install this Russian or Chinese software to enable the real thing.
"Indiscriminately attacking other people with chemicals devices", although that isn't as catchy.
Sure, you can have your vehicle as loud as you want and emit whatever you want, if you recapture all those sounds and substances again before they hit innocent bystanders and their property.
the worst part is that a diesel that is tuned, exactly right, will make truely scary amounts of power, and no smoke.
And much less noise you might think.
Watch a realy nice custom big rig hauling
a heavy load, nothin but heat comming out the stacks, you can literaly see the heat, clear air, with heat ripples.
Over fueling, gives a tiny boost off the line, but whoes kidding who?, thats not where a diesel will ever shine.
Whats fun, is running light, and baddly embarasing euro rides with proof of inexorable torque, never gets stale
Seems like the next logical conclusion is to sell dual-use devices with a "just add software" component provided by a "Russian" company.

Haha. If they have to have their hands on it, it's far more likely they're swapping a chip or if fancy- using a die channel attack.
The forums say it's for secrecy but I think a die channel attack might make more sense.
>Femto can do a partial unlock on original DME or a Full Unlock on a Cloned DME.
I guess they might be doing some soldering for the cloned ECU/DME. You have to pony up some extra cash for a ECU/DME to clone.
Sorry- stupid auto-(in)correct... Side channel attack, not die channel.

Just direct the audio output from the exhaust directly into the drivers ears.
That would take away the joy of rolling coal on people.
Oh, darn.
